Ground Beef Patties Filled With Feta Cheese And Sun-dried Tomatoes

Our family love feta cheese so why not put some inside beef patties together with sun-dried tomatoes. Simmering the spicy patties in veal stock with cream and creme fraiche generates a fabulous sauce. I served this with a cauliflower/canellini bean mash and a mixed sallad

source Ingredients

  • follow 800 g Ground beef
  • follow url 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp Sambal oelek
  • hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg and breastfeeding 3 Tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 50 ml Chinese mushroom soy sauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 g Feta cheese
  • 75 g Sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 100 ml Crème fraiche
  • 100 ml Veal stock
  • salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. Add the egg, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and Sambal Oelek to a large mixing bowl
  2. ith an electric hand mixer, mix until smooth
  3. Add half of the ground beef and mix again until the mixture is homogeneous
  4. Add the rest of the ground beef and mix again until homogeneous
  5. Form the mixture into 8 patties
  6. Make a dent in the patties and fill with feta cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. Cover the filling by folding over the sides and form into patties again
  7. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat
  8. Fry the patties 2-3 min on each side until golden brown and remove them from the skillet
  9. Add the stock, cream and creme fraiche to the skillet and heat the mixture until it starts to boil
  10. Reduce the heat to low and put the patties back into the skillet
  11. Let the patties simmer until the inside temperature is around 60 °C
  12. Add salt and pepper to taste
